đź”´ God Says: I am your loving father

My Beloved Child,

I am the Lord your God, the one true and living God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I am the God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ.

I am the all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, and all-loving God.

I have called you as my own, as one of my precious children.

You are the work of my hands, fearfully and wonderfully made.

I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb.

I have loved you with everlasting love.

My thoughts toward you are more than the grains of sand on the seashore.

You are the apple of my eye.

My child, I have a message for you today.

It is a message of hope, of power, of transformation.

It is a message that can change the course of your life if you will only heed my words and put your faith in me.

The message is this: one prayer can change everything.

Yes, my dear one, one prayer, one sincere, heartfelt cry to me has the power to move mountains, to part seas, to raise the dead.

One prayer can unleash the fullness of my might and my love in your life.

One prayer can unlock the storehouses of heaven and pour out blessings upon you that you cannot even contain.

Throughout the pages of Scripture, I have demonstrated the incredible power of prayer again and again.

Time and time again, my children have come to me in their time of need, and I have heard their cries and acted mightily on their behalf.

Consider the story of Hannah, who longed for a child but was barren.

Year after year, she went to the temple, pouring out her heart to me in anguished prayer.

"O Lord Almighty," she cried, "if you will only look upon your servant’s misery and remember me and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life."

And I heard her prayer.

I saw her deep and sincere desire.

I remembered her and opened her womb, and she gave birth to a son, Samuel, who would become a great prophet and leader in Israel—all because of one fervent prayer.

Or think of the story of Elijah, my faithful servant.

When the land was in the grip of a devastating drought, Elijah prayed that it would not rain, and for three and a half years not a drop fell from the sky.

Then, when the time was right, Elijah prayed again, and the heavens opened and poured out life-giving rain.

One prayer, offered in faith, had the power to stop the rain and then to start it again.

Through Elijah's prayers, I demonstrated my authority over the forces of nature, my power to judge and to restore.

And of course, there is the most powerful prayer ever prayed—the prayer of my own Son, Jesus Christ, in the Garden of Gethsemane.

As the weight of the world's sin bore down upon him, as the horrific prospect of the cross loomed before him, Jesus cried out to me, "Abba, Father, everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."

That one prayer, offered in humble submission to my will, set in motion the events that would lead to the salvation of all mankind.

Through the agony of the cross and the triumph of the resurrection, Jesus's prayer would change the course of human history forever.

My child, these are just a few examples from my Word that demonstrate the incredible power of prayer.

Time and time again, I have shown that when my children come to me in earnest, heartfelt prayer, I hear and I act.

I move heaven and earth to answer their cries and to accomplish my perfect will.

Why then do so many of my children struggle with prayer?

Why do they often view it as a last resort rather than their first line of defense?

Why do they try to handle their problems on their own rather than bringing them to me?

Far too often, my people put their trust in their own strength, their own wisdom, their own resources.

They believe that if they work hard enough, strategize well enough, or marshal enough human effort, they can overcome any obstacle.

But I tell you, this is a grave and dangerous mistake.

Apart from me, you can do nothing.

Your own efforts, no matter how valiant, will always fall short.

Your own understanding is limited and flawed.

Your own resources are finite and insufficient.

It is only when you humble yourself before me, when you acknowledge your complete dependence on me, when you cry out to me in faith-filled prayer—it is only then that you will see my mighty power unleashed in your life.

It is only then that the floodgates of heaven will open, and I will pour out blessings upon you that you cannot even begin to imagine.

My child, I long to work mightily on your behalf.

I yearn to intervene in your circumstances, to move mountains, to part seas, to raise the dead—all in response to your heartfelt prayers.

But too often, you try to handle things on your own.

Too often, you only come to me as a last resort, when all other options have been exhausted.

How I wish that you would learn to make prayer your first response rather than your last.

How I long for you to develop such a deep and abiding trust in me, such a firm confidence in my power and my love, that you would instinctively turn to me in every situation, knowing that one prayer can change everything.

If only you would believe the words I have spoken through my servant Paul: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

When sickness strikes, when relationships crumble, when financial pressures mount, when temptation assails you—do not despair, do not try to handle it alone.

Instead, fall to your knees and cry out to me.

Pour out your heart and know that I am listening.

Know that I am already moving on your behalf, even before the final words leave your lips.

One prayer, my child, can change everything.

One sincere, faith-filled petition to me can unleash the full power of heaven in your life.

One heartfelt cry can move my hand to act in ways that will astound you—ways that will leave you in awe of my majesty and my love.

Remember the words I spoke through my servant James: "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

When you come to me in humility and trust, when you surrender your will to mine, when you believe that I am able and willing to answer your prayers—that is when you will see my mighty power manifested in your life in ways that defy human explanation.

Do not be discouraged, my child, if your prayers are not answered instantly or if the answer does not come in the way you expect.

My timing is not your timing, and my ways are not your ways.

I see the big picture.

I know the end from the beginning.

I am working all things together for your ultimate good, even when you cannot see it.

Continue to pray.

Continue to trust.

Continue to believe that one prayer can change everything.

For I am the Lord, and I do not change.

I am the same yesterday, today, and forever.

What I have done for others throughout history, I am fully able and willing to do for you.

So come to me, my child.

Come boldly before my throne of grace.

Bring me your deepest needs, your greatest burdens, your wildest dreams.

Pour out your heart and know that I am listening.

Know that I am already moving to answer your prayer, even as you speak the words.

I long to demonstrate my power in your life.

I ache to shower you with blessings that will leave you in awe of my majesty.

But I cannot do so unless you come to me in faith-filled, persistent prayer.

I cannot work mightily on your behalf unless you acknowledge your complete dependence on me.

So let today be the day that you make prayer your first and foremost response to every situation.

Let today be the day that you learn to trust me completely, believing that one prayer, one sincere, heartfelt cry to me, can change everything.

My child, the future I have prepared for you is more glorious than you can possibly imagine.

But to walk in that future, to see my power manifested in your life, you must learn to pray.

You must learn to cry out to me, to surrender your will to mine, to believe that I am able and willing to answer your prayers in ways that will astound you.

I am the Lord your God.

I am the Alpha and the Omega.

I am the beginning and the end, and I am saying to you today: one prayer can change everything.

Will you believe me?

Will you trust me?

Will you come to me in prayer, knowing that I hear and that I will act?

The choice is yours, my child.

But oh, how I long for you to choose the path of prayer—the path that leads to the fullness of my power and my love being unleashed in your life.

Choose this day to make prayer your first and greatest weapon against the darkness.

Choose this day to believe that one prayer can change everything.

And watch and wonder as I demonstrate my might, as I part the waters, as I move mountains, as I perform miracles that will leave you in awe of my glory.

For I am the Lord, and with me, all things are possible.

I am waiting, my child.

I am listening.

I am ready to pour out my blessings upon you.

All you must do is pray.

Peace, love, and blessings,
